How do i do real time recording and plotting?

I have a GUI with an axis and a record button. I want to make it so that when I press the record button, matlab begins to record and plot my voice in real time. Any help would be much appreciated.

Nevin - see how to trigger the microphone to record via GUI pushbutton for some code and ideas on how to do something similar to what you want.
