unrecognised function "detectSIFTfeature" in MATLAB 2021a

Hello all

When i am trying detectSIFTfeatures in matlab 2021a, it is shwoing undefined fuction or variable. Is there any possibility to add this function in MATLAB 2021a as it is not available. I have student license for Matlab 2021a from this account.

detectSIFTFeatures was introduced in Computer Visiton Toolbox in R2021b.

Do you have Computer Visiton Toolbox, and are you able to update to R2021b?

Thank you for the reply. I have installed computer vision toolbox in MATLAB R2021a. I will check whether I can update to R2021b or not. Is it possibe to add specifically this fuction to R2021a instead of upgrading to R2021b?

No, the R2021b function cannot be added to R2021a.
