Your question looks like a homework or exam problem, which is not the purpose of this site. Also, you don't need matlab to answer the question. You just need calculus. If you are trying to do it numerically, then set up the problem (i.e. create matrices representing the desired vector field in the desired region of interest), and look up divergence in the Matlab Help.

I figured out the code by myselft , just not getting the desired ouput . Just wanted to know where i went wrong. Also i know i can solve it without matlab . ;)

Plot some results, along y-z plane at x=0, along z-x plane at y=0, along x-y plane at z=0.
