reading data from excel text not displayed

I want to read everything only but following code is showing 3 tables: number, text and everything. If i use only xlsread it does not read the text column. please tell me a way to read colplete excel sheet without skipping text.

filename = ' final.xlsx';

[numbers, TEXT, everything] = xlsread(filename,1)

I believe that the variable 'everything' should have everything.

If you don't need the numeric-only and text-only outputs from xlsread, you can avoid storing them in variables, like this:

[~,~,everything] = xlsread(filename,1)

Avoid using xlsread. Instead use more modern functions like readtable or readmatrix. These are being continuously improved to make your life a lot easier.
