c code and makefile to matlab

Hi i am on ubuntu 20.4. I have c file with code which i want to get to matlab. I have this in makefile:
CFLAGS += -I/opt/quanser/hil_sdk/include
LDFLAGS += -L/opt/quanser/hil_sdk/lib
LIBS += -lhil -lquanser_runtime -lquanser_common -lrt -lpthread -ldl -lm -lc
myhilapp: myhilapp.o
cc $(LDFLAGS) $< -o $@ $(LIBS)
myhilapp.o: myhilapp.c
When i write make in terminal it generates file from .c file and i can run it using ./
/opt/quanser/hil_sdk/include contains .h files which need to be included and /opt/quanser/hil_sdk/lib contains static link libraries (.a) which need to be linked.
I want to somehow use libraries and functions from these paths specified in makefile and eventually create my own blocks out of them and use them in symulink. I am not really sure how to do it. Any advice is appreciated.
How can i convert this makefile to use it in matlab and make it work altogether ?

If you can compile it and run it from terminal, can you just use the system command?

It's not really what i want. i am using hil sdk- https://github.com/quanser/hil_sdk_linux_x86_64 to comunicate with hardware qube servo 2 and i would like to create block scheme in symulink so i can easily send inputs in and get outputs out of that without need to always make new file with makefile.
