Which is the correct USB key foramt for LINUX such that I cna copy a Matlab ISO and install it on FEDORA?

Hello to all,
I have a ISO for Matlab LINUX/MAC formatted as EXFAT on MACOS. I copy from a MAC OS the ISO onto the key and try to install it on Fedora. When I try to mount it on FEDORA it gives an error. After that, I copy it on Windows on a Fat32 disk and Fedora sees it and mounts the ISO. When trying to install Matlab from FEDORA, I get a Java error. I have tracked down the error to a format problem (apparently the Fat32 is not a symbolic storage one) and it messes up the file system somehow).
Therefore, which is the correct format so that Fedora will "like" and let me install Matlab?
Best regards, Jean
