Finding the solution of an equation using midtpoint method

Hello, as it says in the Title, I am trying to find the solution to a function. I will have to do this running a simple script. The function is: e^(2*sqrt(x)) + sin(x^2) = 7tan(x) For x= [0,(pi/2] Anyone out there able to help me out? :)
