I'm really puzzled why you said that. Do you know that the File Exchange IS code that people have uploaded? Did you search it? I was almost certain I had seen ant colony files in there before, but because of your answer I went back to check. Sure enough, there are several submissions on ant colony. What terms did you use in your search query? I used colony. Here is my search http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/index?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=colony. Click on that and you will find lots of source code. And, no, I can't recommend one or any because I have not tried any of them.

If the ACO code in there is not exactly what you need, then I guess you'll have to adapt it or write it yourself or hire some consultant to write it for you.
