ECG signals and EMR data

I downloaded ECG signals from the mimic database on physionet.org. I also have the EMR data, but one question I have is I don't have any ID linking the signals to each patient in the EMR data so I'm confused as to where to find data what has both the ECG signals and information about which signals belong to which patient based off of some ID?

I’ve not needed to do this, and it’s the first time I’ve seen it referenced here on MATLAB Answers.

This is certainly a MATLAB question, considering how ubiquitous PhysioNet data are here, and that the databases can be downloaded as MATLAB .mat files.

I suspect that SARS-CoV-2 is still causing problems in response times there and elsewhere.
