“lock” edit fields size

When I maximize an app (written in app designer) it also extends the size of edit fields. Is there a way to “lock” their size?

You might look into the 'AutoResizeChildren' and 'SizeChangedFcn' properties of a uifigure, or more generally, resizing uifigures.

If different edit fields are in different uipanels, then you could set 'AutoResizeChildren' differently for different uipanels. That would only work if none of the edit fields you want to lock are in the same uipanel as any of the edit fields that should be resized.

If you do have some edit fields that should stay the same size together in a container (i.e., uifigure or uipanel) with some edit fields that should be resized, then I think you either have to write a SizeChangedFcn to do it or maybe you can do it using a Grid Layout Manager.
