How to make a Variable resistor in Sim powersystem not Simscape.

I have to make a variable load,but in simulink,there is only simscape variable resistor,that is not effective while connecting to the simpowersystem models.Please suggest me How to make a variable resistor in sim powersystem

Hello, Adroit,

You can combine a current meter and a controlled voltage source to create a variable resistor. Please see attached model.

Attached is the simulink file, it contains a circuit which shows very easy way to make a variable resistance to be used in Sim Power System.
