thread use on matlab 2014a student version

Hi.

I am a user of matlab 2014a student version without parallel computing toolbox.

Now matlab is running on my dual core computer which are run with my matlab.

But I should change my computer.

So, I wonder how many core(thread) can be used in matlab 2014a student version without parallet computing toolbox for elementary use.
