how to create a signal with parameters that can be changed while the signal is running?

Hello everyone,
I have this problem. I need to create a sine wave and be able to change it's magnitude while the signal is running.
I tried generating a sine wave in background continuously, but i can only change the magnitde if i preload the data again and start another signal.
Please help if you know a way.
