Highlighting of function call in editor

Just installed Matlab R2021b. When running the debugger and stepping into a function matlab highlights in light grey color the line of the function call. This is very annoying as I am using a cusomized color scheme. Is there a way to change the color or cancel this highlighting?

Currently, there's no preference that controls the debugging line highlighting color.

Just to confirm so I can provide a better suggestion: are you using a dark color scheme (i.e. dark background)?

I am not refereing to 'highlight current line' but to highlight of a function call when stepping into the function.
