- Does the MATLAB Web App Server have access to the attribute used for role assignment? (See What attributes can I use for role-/policy-based access with MATLAB Web App Server?)
- Does the attribute match the exact same name and value (including capitalization) as in your identity provider? For example: "mail" vs. "email", or "jdoe" vs. "JDoe".
- If you are assigning roles based on group membership, check if your identity provider limits the number of groups included in JWT tokens.

I configured my web app server to authenticate with OIDC (Azure AD). I’m able to login but I directly get taken to this page asking me to login again and the same loop keeps happening. The message is "You have logged out. To access MATLAB web apps, log back in."

This behavior indicates that you do not have access to the server based on the rules configured from Role-based Access. You must be assigned either the User or Author role based on the rules dictated in the webapps_app_roles.json file to be able to access the server.
If you believe you should have access based on these rules but still encounter this error, consider the following:
