Including Renewable Energy Sources in Matpower to solve Optimal Power Flow?

Hello,

I'm modelling my own grid in matpower to calculate the optimal power flow (opf). The thing is my grid has WT, PV & batteries in them along with the conventional generators.

Does anyone know how to include these renewable energy sources in the code? Do I consider them as normal conventional generators with Pmax and Pmin or there is another way for it? And regarding the batteries? How can I include the charging and the discharging?
