Can I communicate with instruments using Test Script Processing (TSP) like I do with SCPI?

Up until today I used SCPI commands to communicate with my instruments. I define an object obj=visa('ni','Name'); Then open the the communication with fopen('obj') and then use fprint('obj','SCPI Command') to send commands. Can I do the same thing with TSP commands? If so, why can't I find any examples/instructions how to do it? Thanks
