I am using MatLab 2013b on a 64-bit host machine and xPC Target 5.5 with a setup that includes a Measurement Computing PCI-PDISO8 Relay Card. When I perform the getxpcpci('all') command it returns 'unknown device' for this card (other cards are recognised). A quick search on the MatLab Answers page led me to the following link:
This link claims the issue should have been fixed in MatLab 7.1 but for older versions there is a process to follow. I tried following the process anyway with the new files and it still didn't work.
Are you sure this bug has been fixed/not re-introduced in more recent versions of MatLab?

FYI...
I have done some further investigation and managed to borrow a 16 channel card from another test setup and shown it to work. I believe this rules out any doubt over the hardware setup.

It turns out that Measurement Computing (the card manufacturer) had performed an update to the card changing the register addresses that the xPC driver should have been reading and writing to but forgot to inform Mathworks. This has now been resolved and updated drivers are available upon contacting Mathworks.
