Regarding fitness function in GA

Hi, I have the fitness function includes the variables p,Q,R and S, How to write the fitness function for more than single variable. I wrote in the following way but could not get whether its right or wrong? function z=(P,Q,R,S) Z=2*P(1)+Q(2)+R(3)^2+S Please help me.
