Probably my laptop is the problem, but I am working with version R2021b and every time I open Matlab, my laptop is overheating and after a while Matlab crashes. Do you have any clue what it can be? Thank you so much for any help.

How much disk storage is available? Are you using Windows 11? If Windows 11, is S-Mode disabled?

Hi Pietro,
I understand that your MATLAB version r2021b is crashing on Windows machine.
In order to workaround this problem, try the following solutions:
- Install the latest update of MATLAB R2021b by pressing Help > Check for Updates in Home tab.
- Launch the MATLAB with "nojvm" tag in command line.
If the aforementioned solutions fail to resolve the issue, kindly consider locating the crash dump files generated by MATLAB and reaching out to the technical support team for further assistance.
Please refer to the following documentation on update feature, MATLAB answers to launch MATLAB with "nojvm" and locating the crash dump files.
Hope this resolves your query!
