simscape.m​ultibody.t​irread tir file version

Question: which MF tire version are supported by function "simscape.multibody.tirread" to be used as input for "Magic Formula Tire Force and Torque" block?

i'm trying to use function "simscape.multibody.tirread" with a tir file I have but I get the following error:

"Index exceeds the number of array elements. Index must not exceed 1. Error in simscape.multibody.tirread"

I suppose it is a problem related to the tir file version. The function is no reporting the supported version of MF tire, I'm using "MF-Tyre 5.2".

Hi Michele,

The function simscape.multibody.tirread for reading tire parameter files (.tir) will read any any .tir file. The error message you are reporting is likely for the Magic Tire Formula Force and Torque block, which is looking for parameters corresponding to Magic Formula version 6.2.
