- Bandwidth of the channel: The channel model represents an indoor environment with multipath propagation, which led to a wide range of frequency components. The sampling rate of '300e6' is chosen to ensure the coverage of the channel's bandwidth.
- Sampling: The sampling rate should be at least twice the maximum frequency component of the signal of interest to ensure the reconstruction of the original signal from its samples.
- OFDM System Requirements: OFDM systems require a certain minimum sampling rate to ensure proper symbol detection and minimize inter-symbol interference.

For a project I am working on, I was looking into the 'Indoor MIMO-OFDM Communication Link using Ray Tracing' example:
In the Deterministic Channel Model from Ray Tracing section, the sampling rate of the channel is set to 300e6. Now, I was wondering why exactly this sampling rate was used and what parameters have an influence on the channel sampling rate? How can you find the optimal value for this?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Calvin,
As per my understanding, you would like to understand how the sampling rate of the channel is set to 300e6.
The choice of the sample rate is influenced by the following factors:
Hope that helps!
