Can I run MATLAB (R2017 or newer) on a Lenovo Chromebook with an AMD A4 processor?

As per the title, I need to use MATLAB for some teaching and the classrooms don't have any computers. I currently have no work laptop but I really don't need one so I want to shell out as little as possible.
I found a really cheap "Chromebook 300e Convertible AMD A4 4GB RAM 32 GB eMMc Chrome OS 11" and I was wondering if I will be able to run MATLAB R2017 (or newer) on it.
Thanks for your answers!

Probably not.
You need a 64 bit OS to run Matlab (R2015b was the last release with an x86 version). Note that ARM64 only counts if you're talking about the M1/M2.
You should consider Matlab Online. Then Mathworks is providing the horsepower and you just use your browser.
If all else fails, you could also look into GNU Octave. It has many drawbacks, but the big advantage is that it will even run on a Raspberry Pi. It will be slow. If at all possible, I would explore Matlab Online.

No, the only supported operating systems are Windows, Linux, and MacOS. ChromeOS is not supported.
