Read an ECG signal from dat file

Hi,
I have been trying to read an ECG dat file which I have collected from a BPL 9108 Cardiart machine. The output I get does not look like an ECG signal. Please help.

If you want to extract ECG signal data from a .dat file, the file exchange linked below might help you in opening and processing signals from the ECG signals database.
