Not symbol in MATLAB stateflow

I am facing an issue with matlab online. When I am using stateflow if I am writing conditional like a|b it automatically converts | to ~. similarly ! is also getting converted to ~.

This issue is not happening in matlab offline (tried in a friend's machine). however my PC does not have resources to install matlab offline. Can you please help how to resolve this issue

Hi Karhika,

In MATLAB NOT symbol is represened by "~" instead of "!", therefore stateflow automatically changes the symbol.
