event listener plotting in guide GUI

Hi,

I have an event listener that listens to a Simulink block. the listener creates a plot based on the signals it receives from the Simulink blocks. I am trying to implement the start/stop of the listener into a guide GUI. The whole thing works when it comes to plotting on a new figure. However, I want it to plot in to the same guide GUI that executes the code which adds the listener. I can't get it to do it, does anyone have any advice?

Horace - could you provide some of the code that you are using to display the image? Does the listener launch the GUI or is the GUI already visible or..?
