Change MENU font size in 2013b

The menu font size in 2013b is too small for me. The MATLAB preferences font selection only changes the font size in the editor, MATLAB window, etc., but does nothing for the menus --- at least, not that I can find.

Is there a setting for this or must I increase the Windows font?

I would like to achieve the very same thing. On a 4k monitor Matlab remains unusable. Very disappointing for such a common sense feature that other software has implemented 20years ago.
