Why does the MathWorks Product Installer fail to download?

I am trying to download the MathWorks Product Installer to install products such as MATLAB, but it is failing to download. How can I resolve this?

There can be several reasons why the installer is failing to download. See some of the possibilities below.

1. Antivirus software - If you have this enabled disable it.
2. Virtual Private Network (VPN) or proxy servers - if you have either enabled, disable them.
3. Network firewalls - If you have these disable them or ask your network administrators to add an exception to the firewall(s).
4. Internet browser - Try using a different internet browser in case the one you are currently using is causing issues. You can also try an "Incognito" or "Private" browser window.
5. Poor connection/interruptions - If you have a poor network or experienced a network interruption, try the download again. Make sure your computer stays on while downloading the installer.
6. Storage - Make sure there is enough storage on your device to download and run the installer, as well as for the products that you wish to install.
