Simulate dynamic system with 2 control axes

Hey everyone,
i'm modelling a System with 2 moving Axis, one for x, one for y through simscape. The task of the system is to balance a ball on a plate. I tested the control algorithm and modified the PID Parameters, when one axis is comment out - this works fine. When both axis are uncommented the system stops working like it used to be. It seems very instable. I think it has something to do with the connection where both axis and the base/top comes together.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

The main challenge is a physical challenge for the simulation. the joints had struggle with the camp forces. switching the revolute joint to a spherical joint is the solution.
