converting video formats using matlab?

can anyone help me on how to convert any video format into real media, is there any working equations about this? thanks

Is that "real media" as in one of the file formats supported by RealPlayer from Real.com ?

If so then there are no direct equations for it: it would be a video analysis process.

Dear Angelo, Your question is equivocal. What exactly does "any video format" mean? Betamax-tapes? Proprietary AVI compressors?

As you can read in my profile, I do not like to receive questions by email. The time I'm spending inside the forum is enough and I really do not see a reason to push me.
