You forgot to attach the .fig file and the .m file.

MATLAB never just says "there was an error at such and such a line": it always gives information about what the error was. For example it might say something about "no such function or variable gui_mainfcn". Or it might have another few lines of location information before that and say something like "subscript out of range, must be at most 4"
We need the complete error message. Or else we need the complete .m and .fig file so that we can run the program ourselves to see what the error message is.

He means ALL THE RED TEXT. Tell us everything in red you see in the command window.
And even then we can't do much without the files I requested. When you edit a file with GUIDE, there are two files created. There is the .fig file and the .m file. I asked you to attach them but you did not. Why not? If you really want it solved, and it is not solved already, you would attach thee_thesis.m and thee_thesis.fig with the paperclip icon.
