Forexample if I have x(t) as a signal and I have to transform the signal to
x(-t)
x(2t+2)
x(t+2)
x(1-3t)

It seems that you are looking to perform time shifting and scaling operations on signals in MATLAB. To do so, you will need to manipulate the time axis of the signal as required, while keeping the magnitude unchanged. Below is an example on how to transform "
" to "
":
% Sample Signal
x = [1 2 3 1];
t = [0 4 8 12];
% Calculate the transformed time vector for x(2t+2)
t_transformed = (t - 2) / 2;
% Plot the original and transformed signals
figure;
subplot(2, 1, 1);
stem(t, x);
title('Original Signal x(t)');
xlabel('Time t');
ylabel('x(t)');
ylim([0 4]);
grid on;
subplot(2, 1, 2);
stem(t_transformed, x);
title('Transformed Signal x(2t+2)');
xlabel('Time t');
ylabel('Transformed x(t)');
ylim([0 4]);
grid on;
Output:
