i have attached the wav file with this. i want to do FFT analysis using voice signal. but i am not sure whether code is correct or not. please give me your sujection to correct my code
clc
clear
[y, Fs]=audioread('Voice Sabine.WAV');
n=length(y);
t=(0:n-1)/Fs;
%fgure1
plot(t,y);
xlabel('Time');
ylabel('Audio signal');
title('Original signal');
figure(2)
nfft=length(y); %length of time domain signal
nfft2=2^nextpow2(nfft);%length of signal in power of 2
ff=fft(y,nfft2);
%subplot(2,2,2);
abs_s=abs(ff);
freq=0:(1/t(end)):Fs/2-(1/t(end));
plot(freq,abs_s(1:length(freq)))

hello
your code is correct
FYI, this one below gives you a deeper insight into the time / frequency content of a non stationnary signal like a human voice
=> spectrogram plot
Also you can use (or not) the dB (A) weighting that is widely used in acoustics.
you can resample the data as there is almost no energy above 5 kHz (hence here decim = 4;)
hope it helps
