For the past 4 months, I've been creating and using a self-made Simulink model. Last week when I tried to open my model, i got the following error:
Error using open (line 146). File "X" does not contain a valid Simulink model in SLX format: Could not open source package.
When I tried to unpack the file in Winzip, I got notified that it was not possible because the file was corrupted. When I tried to do it with an older file in the same directory, it unpacked the old file in different xml files. Unfortunately the old file was from 2 months ago, as well as the original file and this would take another 2 months of coding to get to the last version.
Any idea on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately it is unlikely that you will be able to retrieve it, unless you are able to use an undelete utility if some sort, or you are able to recover it from your backups.

Hello Simon,
I understand that you are trying to open your Simulink model, but it fails to open showing the error.
The issue that you are facing appears to be a bug and unfortunately, there is no workaround for this issue. Please refer to the following bug report for more information.
