Simscape "double acting hydraulic cylinder (simple)" pressure calculation

The help page shows that the force is calculated by the difference of chambers' pressure times area, but how is the pressure being calculated?
I'm comparing the flow, position, and pressure from the simscape block to outputs using equations for hydraulic cylinders/orfices and everything lines up except for pressure.

Hey Chris,
The pressure in a double-acting hydraulic cylinder in Simscape is determined by the fluid properties and the system operating conditions. The Simscape block for a double-acting hydraulic cylinder calculates the pressure based on the force balance on the piston, which is determined by the difference in pressure between the two chambers and the piston area. The pressure is assumed to be uniform within each chamber, which may not always hold true in real-world hydraulic systems.
