Separating Hybrid Images

Hello, I want to separate a hybrid image. Its called MonroeEinstein or Marilyn Einstein. You can see it in the link bellow:

Well, I know that I have to pass a high-pass filter, to see only Einstein and a low-pass filter to see only Marilyn. But I dont know where to start! So, I'm open to any idea at all. Thanks for your time.

I'd suggest you start with conv2(), or fft2().
