I try create a mask for a subsystem including input and output ports but saving gives an error "SubSystem block (mask) parameter 'MaskPortRotate' is read-only? What does it mean and how to proceed? What should I do to be able to save the mask?

Hi Tommi,
Which release do you see this error in?

If it is read-only, then leave it alone. Don't try to set it.

Thanks, but I cannot save the mask I created because of the error. What should I do to be able to save the mask?

Can you provide a simplified example model to show the problem?
Or at your Mask Editor dialog, click the "Icon" tab, set "Port Rotation" to "Default".

If it occurs again, as a workaround, can you copy the contents of your subsystem into a new subsystem, make a mask on that subsystem, and then replace the original subsystem with the new one? In 22a, the development team are aware of an issue with making masks on subsystems with flexible port placement (subsystems where you have dragged one of the ports around the subsystem boundary to move them), which has been resolved in later releases.
