how locate words in ocr of image

hi i have result of ocr which is text and words and bounding boxes. then in all text i want to find for example date so i use regular expression that searches all text:

start=regexp(text.Text,'\')

then i want to know what word it fits to draw the bounding box if it is only '/' it is easy but if i have two dates i have 4 matches of slash how to find more quickly the correct word also it may be may 17 2014 so i need to find all 3 words how to combine all 3 to find the bounding box to draw i may have several dates in the image
