i have created a model which has system subsystem and 2 component. The system has flight operation data like external temperature and flight data like every minute at which altitude the flight is operating. The subsystem has input as state (Sate flow chart) which means flight mission take off, cruise, climb, descent, landing which convert the input state in to temperature and power this is the engine power also defined in a state flow chart and temperature is the engine temperature which act like a stress on component 1. The temperature is input to component and i want to check
If there is 1 component and 1 stress like temperature what will be the behaviour of component
If there is 1 component and many stresses like temperature, vibration, mechanical stress etc what will be the behaviour of component and will it effect the neighbouring component or subsystem

Hi Virag,
Behavior or response of a particular component on application of stress due to external cause or due to interlinked components must be user defined or programmed in a way to behave in accordance with a particular stress condition.
Some of the possible ways to program it will be:
  1. Mathematical Models: Using if else, probabilistic mathematical expressions to express the resultant of a stress on a particular component.
  2. Physical Model: There are certain physical components that provide with the option of outage, resistance, or breakout value of a particular parameter. These can be provided with appropriate values to analyze their reaction on being exposed to certain stress.
  3. Stateflow: This is a graphical environment that gives the provision of defining states of a particular component that the component can be in or transitioned to depending on various stress conditions and can be triggered depending on types of reaction we want to consider.
Custom blocks can be created too, using which meticulous and specific requirements can be met.
Visualization of the following conditions on exposure to stress can be done by any of the following methods:
  1. Time-domain Plots
  2. Stateflow Charts
  3. Animations
  4. Custom Visualization
Hope this helps.
