Can not start Visual Studio 2022 debugger from Simulink Model

I'm trying to debug a small Simulink C-Funtion block with VS 2022 debugger and following the step on this webside

I have VS2022 installed and when I run the command:

winqueryreg('HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE','SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager','DebuggerMaxModuleMsgs')

I get the result:

ans =

int32

16534

So the installation of VS2022 should be correct.

Now I try to start the debuggber by clicking on the "Set Breakpoint in Custom Code" menu entry

And get this error message:

To use MinGW for custom code debugging, install MATLAB Coder Interface for Visual Studio Code Debugging support package.

Suggested Actions

Install MATLAB Coder Interface for Visual Studio Code Debugging support package.Open

I have installed VS2022 and this IDE don't need I support package, as far as I know.

So what is going wrong.

In the documentation it is mentioned that you need to install the “MATLAB® Coder™ Interface for Visual Studio Code Debugging support package”.

Kindly install the required add-on as mentioned in the error and see if the issue persists.
