GUI Edit field (Text) will not write when "select windows when the mouse moves over them"

I am developing GUI with matlab appdesigner on linux.

However, if enable Windows selection "select windows when the mouse moves over them" in linux's "window preferences" setting,

it can not write in the Edit Field of the GUI. ( does not response to keyboard input )

If you disable "select windows when the mouse moves over them," I can write in the Edit Field.

I want to write edit on the GUI. What's the problem?

Is this a linux compatibility issue?

p.s develope to GUI using "guide", it's okay. but there is a problem using "appdesigner"..

The behavior of the option 'Select windows when the mouse moves over them' is called focus-follows-mouse. MATLAB does not support the "Focus Follows Mouse" options on Linux/Unix systems.
