Removal of text from an image without changing the image portion.

I want to remove the texts from a given image without changing the image portion. The result image will me same as the actual image but no text will be there.
results = ocr(I); is not working for text detection . it is giving error.
I'll be helpful if anyone suggest some idea how to do it.
