I could not move the arm using the code from MATLAB and I get the error "Error using untitled "Arduino hardware not detected on port COM4."

I understand that you are facing an issue while using Arduino hardware in Simulink.
Please open device manager, expand Ports and verify if the Arduino board is on COM4 like in the picture attached.
If the arduino board is connected to a COM port other than COM4, provide the COM port displayed in device manager as the input argument to the arduino function in line 1.
a = arduino('COM4')
However, the code may still not be able to control a robotic arm, since the arduino object is cleared in the very next line.
clear a;
