Connecting/Activating license without license number/activation key

Hey all!

I´m pretty new to MatLab so first of all - sorry for my non-professional problem explanation. I hope everything is understable.

So - I am currently using matlab for my doctoral thesis.

After i used the free trial version of MatLab my doctoral supervisor sended me an e-mail with the order for a new license. But there is no license number or activation key included. It has a download button for MatLab but I already have installed it for my free trial and when I start MatLab it´s just saying that my free trial is over.

The e-mail also has a link to the order details which includes: the MathWorks Order Number, the Order and and Invoice Number. There´s also a master license number but this is also not the license number for connecting it to my excisting accout.

How can I now activate the license?

You should ask your supervisor or the institute system administrator regarding this.
