How to specify link direction when linking Simulink Objects to DOORS Requirements

1 vue (au cours des 30 derniers jours)
When using the Requirements Toolbox to create direct links from Simulink Objects to IBM DOORS objects, the link on the DOORS side is created as an "Out Link". Is it possble to create the links as In-Links?

Hey @B Sellars, What is the intended use case here? Are you trying to say that a block in your model is satisfied by a requirement? Just trying to understand the workflow better.

The current project that I am working has deemed in links to be considered as a satisfies relationship in their DOORS project. This maybe backwards from industry standards, but that is path they have taken. Of course we could reverse the link directon via script, but I am trying to do as less work as possible like.

Hi @B Sellars, it sounds like you want to create backlinks in IBM DOORS as incoming links instead of outgoing links. You should be able to do that by setting this preference by using the rmipref function:
previousVal = rmipref(DoorsBacklinkIncoming=true)
Unfortunately this name-value argument is not documented on the rmipref function reference page. I've created an enhancement request to add that information to the page.
