Image Acquisition Toolbox vs. Image Acquisition Explorer

Are the image acquisition toolbox and the image acquisition explorer the same thing or two different things?

if i have the Image acquisition explorer does that mean that i have the whole Image Acquisition Toolbox or would I still need to purchase the Image Acquisition Toolbox?
You can't buy the app a la carte. If you have a license for the toolbox and you're using release R2022a or later (when the app was introduced) you can use the app; if you don't have a license for the toolbox or you're using release R2021b or earlier (before it was introduced) you will not be able to use the app.
Sorry, let me know if i understand this. I have the R2023b version of Matlab so I still need to purchase the license for the Toolbox to access all of its features?
If you have the explorer, then you have the toolbox. You wouldn't be able to see it or run it if you didn't have the full toolbox.
If you don't have the explorer, then you'll need to buy the toolbox and the explorer will come with it, along with lots of other functions.
