Hello,
since I updated my MacOs (M1 - MB Air) to Sonoma 14.4.1 I am unable to launch Matlab (tried 2023b and 2024a - multiple reinstalls). I have preinstalled Java, as mentioned on the installation page, but Matlab is still stuck at the (small) loading screen.
Wasn't able to find any relevant questions to this issue on the forum and I dont get any errors. Stuck at this.
Thank you.

Hello,
I also have a similar problem on Apple M3 Max MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.5. All seems to have been installed ok, but the launch screen appears for a few seconds and then disappears again. Help!
Thanks

Please try the following steps:
- Ensure that the MATLAB version you are using is compatible with the new macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. Sometimes, new macOS updates may require updates or patches from MATLAB to ensure compatibility.
- Clean Installation: Try performing a clean installation of MATLAB. This involves completely removing any existing MATLAB installations and preferences before reinstalling MATLAB from scratch.
- Contact MathWorks Support: If you've tried all the above steps and are still unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to MathWorks Support for assistance. They may be able to provide further guidance or troubleshooting steps specific to your situation.
By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and resolve the issue preventing MATLAB from launching on your macOS Sonoma 14.4.1.
