Is there a way to extract numerical results from the phasor analysis of the multimeter block?
What is the output format of this block and how to separate the output measurements into individual items?

Hi Zbigniew,
Here are few steps to extract numerical results from the phasor analysis of the multimeter block:
  • Use the Simulation Data Inspector or a "To Workspace" block to log the output of the Multimeter block.
  • If using the Simulation Data Inspector, you can access the logged data through the Simulink interface and export it for further analysis. If using a "To Workspace" block, the data will be saved in the MATLAB workspace in the specified variable.
  • The output format of the Multimeter block typically includes complex numbers: 1) The magnitude of each complex number represents the phasor magnitude of a measured quantity. 2) The angle or phase of each complex number represents the phasor angle.
  • After accessing the output data, you can separate the magnitudes and angles using MATLAB functions as below:
% Assuming phasorData contains the complex phasor output from the Multimeter block
magnitudes = abs(phasorData); % Extract magnitudes
angles = angle(phasorData); % Extract angles (in radians)
Please refer the below documentations for multimeter, Simulation Data Inspector and To Workspace blocks respectively:
I hope it helps!
