Problem to connect external webcam on raspberry pi

When trying to connect the raspi camera in matlab I get the following error: Seed must be a double scalar.

1. Share the MATLAB version and support package version by executing following commands,

>> ver 
>> matlabshared.supportpkg.getInstalled

2. Share the operating system and the model of the Raspberry Pi. On Raspberry Pi terminal

$ lsb_release -a
$ cat /proc/cpuinfo

3. Share the model name of the camera

4. Share the entire error logs/screenshot of the error message
