I keep receiving the message "Unable to save login information. You are currently signed in but you will be prompted to sign in again the next time that you start this application." everytime I start the Matlab application.
I tried to follow all the steps I could find, such as reinstaling the Mathworks Service Host, eliminating the files at '%APPDATA%\MathWorks\credentials', '%APPDATA%\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB', reinstaling the Matlab 2024a. I don't know what else to do in order to fix this problem.
Can you help me?

I contacted the MathWorks Installation Support and they told me that this problem is typical of versions after R2023b, when they introduced the new licensing technology. Then they asked me to delete the folders C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\credentials and C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\licensing. Note that one should delete the folders, not only the contents within. This should be done after ending all MathWorks Service Host processes. Apparently it worked and I no longer need to log in every time I start the Matlab application.

Hi Filipe,
This issue might occur if there is a conflict between the MATLAB Connector ServiceHost and the MathWorks Service Host. Reinstalling the MathWorks Service Host can be one possible solution.
Although you mentioned that you have already tried reinstalling it, I am not sure of the workflow that you have followed. You can perform a clean reinstall by following the workflow mentioned here:
If the issue persists, you can try resetting the login credentials by following the workflow mentioned below:
  1. Shutdown any running MATLABs, MathWorksServiceHost and MATLABConnector processes. If you don't know how to shutdown the ServiceHost or Connector, you can refer to 'End all MATLAB-related processes' section from the above link.
  2. Delete your credentials storage folder and re-run MATLAB.
If the issue is still not resolved, you can reach out to MathWorks Technical Support for further assistance:

We purchased the MATLAB license software for GIK Institute. However, when we installed it and reset the computer, and then ran MATLAB, it showed an error asking for a MATLAB username and password. When we entered the username and password, it displayed an error."
